Do the settings 1, 2 and 3 on the 1-2-3 Variflow teat correspond to the Small, Medium and Large sizes in the regular bottle teats?
No. Because the 1-2-3 Variflow teat has a small slit in it rather than a hole—as is the case with regular bottle teats—the flow is slightly greater. This means that setting 1 flows a little faster than the Small size, setting 2 is slightly faster than Medium, and setting 3 is slightly faster than the Large size. For this reason, we recommend using this bottle teat from 3 months and up or when using thicker food.
