What makes it dynamic

Most pacifiers are static. The Difrax LOVI Dynamic Pacifier Prime is not. The teat is constructed from multiple layers of silicone at varying thicknesses, allowing it to expand and contract with your baby's natural sucking rhythm. It adapts to how your baby uses it rather than requiring them to adapt to the pacifier.

Orthodontic design: why the shape matters

That adaptability matters for development. A teat that moves with the jaw and palate puts less sustained pressure on bone structure than a rigid one. For the 6 to 18 month window, when oral development is active and speech foundations are forming, the design supports rather than works against what's happening naturally. The symmetrical shape was developed with medical specialists to protect the natural sucking reflex without affecting speech or tooth development.

The Prime shield

The shield curves slightly outward from the face to minimise contact with your baby's skin during use. Smooth, lightweight, and designed with a nose cut-out so your baby can breathe freely throughout.

The Prime pacifier is made of high-quality silicone and is taste and odour free. This is extremely important for babies who are initially sensitive to external stimuli. Thanks to the special curve in the shield, your baby can breathe freely through the nose during use. Prime pacifiers are extra lightweight and do not put any strain on your baby's mouth.

Advice: replace the teat every 6 weeks. Pull the sucking section daily to check the teat is undamaged. Is the soother damaged? Replace it immediately.

Learning to drink from a cup is a bigger step than it looks. The Difrax LOVI Genius Training Cup was designed to make that transition gradual, safe, and developmentally sound. The slow-flow insert controls the rate of drinking to reduce choking risk. The specially shaped rim keeps the head in a neutral position, preventing the neck strain that comes from tipping a standard cup all the way back.

Developed with neuro-speech therapy insights

The cup was developed drawing on neuro-speech therapy research: the same discipline that informs how children develop swallowing, breathing, and speech patterns. The result is a cup that actively supports healthy oral development rather than just holding liquid.

How to use the Genius Training Cup

Start with the insert in place (130ml capacity, slow-flow valve active). As your child's confidence grows, adjust the two-position valve to increase flow. When they're ready for the next stage, remove the insert entirely and use it as a full open cup (150ml capacity).
