Why the S-shape matters

The S-shape is not a design detail. It reduces the angle between bottle and teat, which limits the air your baby swallows during feeding. How to use the S-Bottle Natural

Before each use, check the anti-colic valve by squeezing it a few times to confirm the tiny air hole is open. This keeps the flow consistent and prevents vacuum build-up during feeding.

The S-Baby Bottle Natural 250ml is a follow-up to the Natural S-bottle 170ml; so as your baby grows, you can transition to the 250ml version at approximately three months old. With its unscrewable base the S-baby bottle is easy to clean and to fill with cubes of frozen breast milk.

The Difrax XS (Extra Small) Variflow Teat has 3-flow rates specially developed for the smallest babies. It is designed to meet the varying nutritional needs of premature babies or babies with feeding difficulties. The XS Variflow Teat is ideal for babies for whom a size S Teat is still too fast. The 1-2-3 ring allows you to adjust the drinking speed according to your baby's needs. The teat has three positions: XXS, XS, and S.

The supplied 1-2-3 Ring Natural allows you to position the XS Variflow teat on the S-bottles. The supplied green ring allows the teat to rotate in the bottle teat ring. To change position, twist the teat ring slightly off the S-bottle. Then turn the teat so that the desired position on the teat (I, II or III) is under the nose. The XS teat is made of extra soft silicone. In the top of the teat there is an S-shaped slit through which the liquid food passes in doses. Check after buying and before each feed that the S-slit is open and not sticking together. Squeezing the tip of the teat with your thumb and index finger loosens the silicone material. The XS Variflow teat is now ready for use.

Difrax pacifiers have a butterfly-shaped collar. This keeps the nose clear and the pacifier fits well on the face. The holes in the collar provide additional airsupply, which prevents irritation to the skin. The pacifier size has been specially developed for babies from around 0 to 6 months old.

Natural pacifiers have a round, symmetrical shape, which most babies accept most easily. Difrax pacifiers were developed in collaboration with speech therapists and dentists. 

Recommendation: replace the pacifier every 6 weeks. Pull the nipple daily to check the nipple for damage. Id the pacifier is damaged, replace it immediately.

Paediatric dentists recommend that you start brushing your teeth as soon as the first teeth come through. The Difrax 1-2-3 Variflow Ring helps parents to choose and maintain the right position of the 1-2-3 Variflow teat on the Difrax S-baby bottle according to your baby's preference. 

To fix the teat in position, place the desired marker on the teat (according to the indications below) under where your baby’s nose will be when the S-bottle is held in the correct feeding position and secure the ring.

The cup has a soft straw with an anti-leak system and supports normal muscle development in the mouth. The straw only opens when your child sucks on it, without suction the straw does not let drinks through, preventing spills. The patented Cup with straw is suitable from around 12 months.

The slow-flow insert controls the rate of drinking to reduce choking risk. How to use the Genius Training Cup
